Blue is the sea, blue is the sky, and blue is also Lake Rgotsko, one of the cleanest and warmest lakes in Serbia. The transparent water will give you the impression that you are in some exotic place in Greece or on the Adriatic coast.
Lake Rgotsko was formed in 1978 when water began to fill the surface pit of a sand mine. Due to the presence of quartz sand, the water is very clear and transparent. Although there are no organized beaches along the shores of the lake, this does not deter bathers, anglers, and other visitors. On the contrary, with the first rays of sun, this aquatic gem becomes a popular spot for relaxation and enjoyment, and during the summer months, it's a favorite destination for many swimmers.
If you are a nature lover, your eye will not miss the landscape ideal for outings, camping, enjoying the lake shores with barbecues, or good company.
