Fancy a dip in thermal water? You got it!

Nestled in a pleasant ambiance, surrounded by wooded hills, Gamzigrad Spa, also known as Gam Banja, is one of those places you can visit for tourism, recreation, or health purposes alike. Situated at an altitude of 160 meters in the valley of the Crni Timok River, not far from Zaječar.

The pristine nature and clean air make Gam Banja a beautiful place to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The spa itself boasts several sources of thermal-mineral waters with temperatures ranging from 38 to 43 degrees Celsius. Since 1978, a specialized rehabilitation hospital named "Gamzigrad" has been operating here, offering treatments for peripheral vascular diseases as well as general rehabilitation.

The hospital features two pools with thermal-mineral water. Visitors to Gamzigrad Spa can also avail themselves of electrotherapy, phototherapy, kinesiotherapy, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Additionally, guests can make use of the gym, football field, and courts for various sports activities.

Where is it located?

It is situated 11 kilometers west of Zaječar, on the road to Belgrade.

Take the Zaječar - Paraćin highway.
