Bovan Lake, near Sokobanja, is a place of relaxation that you will quickly fall in love with. Tourists often return here, whether for fishing and camping or for the calm water that is perfect for swimming in the summer.
Stretching about 8 km long, it is rich in various fish species. Here you can catch pike-perch, catfish, Prussian carp, barbel, carp, or pike. To prevent water pollution and maintain clarity in the lake, the use of motorboats is not allowed.
Besides swimming in the lake, you can also paddle, sail, or ride a pedal boat.
During the summer season, organized transportation from Sokobanja to the lake is available. Accommodation can be found in one of the local households or nearby motels.
